You are welcome to the department of Accountancy domiciled within the school of Business and Management Studies (SBMS) of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. Our brand as a department is enhanced by seasoned professionals’ majority of whom are Chartered Accountants. We have been deploying appropriate training techniques to groom our students to become future leaders in their choosing career.

Our relationship with relevant professional bodies have been excellent to develop financial experts capable of competing with their level of competence. We regularly recommend solutions to societal social problems through research in contemporary issues. Presently, our department is accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and professionally by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Our National Diploma is designed to produce diplomas with a good knowledge of financial operations of different types of businesses and to lay a good foundation for an accounting, banking and insurance career in the public and private sectors of the economy for middle level cadre of positions. On completion of our Higher National Diploma certificate, the holders would have been equipped with comprehensive knowledge of cost and management accounting, financial management, public sector accounting, taxation and should be able to operate accounting system of any type of business in the economy.

We therefore welcome all seasoned professionals, intending scholar in accounting and all our alumni to join our progressive team of building a world class department of accounting. We are open for consultancy to make our society better.
